Santa Fe Opera Apprentice Scenes
Show Crew Supervisor
During my time as Santa Fe Opera Apprentice, two nights of apprentice-run scenes were held. These scenes are designed, built, ran, and performed by the apprentices of the season. I received the honor of being the show crew supervisor for the first night of scenes. In my position, I led a group of 6 (1 crew lead, 5 crew members) through the transitions of each scene in collaboration with the props run crew.
Paperwork
Outside of rehearsals, I would have meetings or fill out paperwork. One of the most important documents for the run crew is the deck run. This document contains small graphics of where everything goes and a description of who moves what piece and where. This document was created in collaboration with the props crew lead.
